Esther Loseto-Gerritzen is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. She currently holds a fellowship as part of the Dem-Comm programme on capacity-building in dementia research, which is funded by the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) and the Alzheimer’s Society. In this role Esther works together with people lived experience to develop better post-diagnostic support for people with Young Onset Dementia and their families, and she explores the role that technology can play in this. Esther’s PhD work on online peer support for people with Young Onset Dementia was part of DISTINCT, a Marie Curie Innovative Training Network. Esther is also one of the two first junior representatives in the INTERDEM Board and co-lead of the INTERDEM taskforce on Young Onset Dementia.
