Anti-Stigma initiatives
The Alzheimer Europe Anti-Stigma Award recognises an outstanding initiative aimed at combating stigma and promoting a positive image of dementia and people living with dementia.
Each year, individuals and organizations based in a member country of Alzheimer Europe can submit projects, campaigns, films, videos, publications, or books that have been developed and/or implemented in Europe within the past three years, with the aim of addressing the stigma associated with dementia.
The list below provides an overview of initiatives that participated in 2022 as well as 2023 and which were rated as interesting and innovative by the Award Jury. The six finalists are at the top of the list in ranking order. The other initiatives are listed in alphabetical order.
