Dr. Antonella Santuccione Chadha is a medical doctor renowned for her expertise in neuroscience and psychiatry, as well as her leadership in organisation management, research, and clinical development. She is the founder and pro bono CEO of the Women’s Brain Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to using precision medicine to explore the impact of sex and gender on mental and brain diseases.
In addition to her role at the Women’s Brain Foundation, Dr. Chadha serves as the Vice-President and a board member of Euresearch, a Swiss agency that supports research and innovation activities across Europe.
Dr. Chadha has a diverse professional background, having worked in European universities, pharmaceutical companies such as Roche and Biogen, the Swiss regulatory agency for therapeutic product approval, and policy organisations. She has also served as the chief medical officer and ad-interim CEO of Altoida, a company specializing in digital AI-driven diagnostics for precision neurology.
Her scientific accomplishments have earned her numerous accolades, including being listed among the Top 100 Women in Business in Switzerland since 2018 and being named Woman of the Year in Switzerland in 2019. Dr. Chadha has also received the World Sustainability Award for her contributions to advancing precision medicine and the "Premio Medicina Italia" for her efforts in managing the pandemic. In 2022, she was honored with the Veuve Clicquot Bold Woman Award in Switzerland. More recently, in 2024, she received the “Women Empowering Award” and will be recognized for her contributions to Swiss scientific advancement with the “Katherinenturm” Project.
