MenoBrain is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network funded by the Horizon Europe Framework Programme of the European Union. The project started on 1 September 2025 and aims to train a new generation of 15 doctoral candidates to address the pressing challenges of menopause-related brain health. MenoBrain brings together 11 Beneficiaries and 7 partner organisations from 10 European countries with one aim in common: filling critical research gaps on the menopausal transition and postmenopause, improving mental and brain health care for women while reducing health disparities, and fostering equitable, innovative solutions for an ageing population.
The project coordinator is Prof. Dr. Christian Gaser of Jena University Hospital (Germany). Alzheimer Europe is an associated partner in this project.
