Anti-Stigma Award

The Alzheimer Europe Anti-Stigma Award recognises an outstanding initiative aimed at combating stigma and promoting a positive image of dementia and people living with dementia.

The awards can be for individuals and organisations established in a member country of Alzheimer Europe and which has been developed and/or implemented in the past three years, in Europe. Previous awards were for projects, campaigns, films, videos, publications or books which aim to address the stigma attached to dementia.

In 2024, Alzheimer Europe was delighted to partner with the Alzheimer Europe Foundation, C2N Diagnostics, Lilly and Roche to award a journalist for their positive portrayal of dementia in a news feature or documentary.
