Since 2015, René has been an Executive Board Member of Alzheimer Luxembourg (ALA) and a Board Member of Alzheimer Europe since 2020. Formerly, he worked for an engineering and project management company, headquartered in Luxembourg, where he held the position of Senior Vice-President, responsible for Global Human Resources of the Group. As a member of Rotary International, he was District Governor for Belgium & Luxembourg and since 2021 he has been a regular member of the Rotary International Parliament. In these functions he is a.o. focusing on financially supporting the Alzheimer’s academic research in Luxembourg.
