On 7 July, the World Health Organisation (WHO) announced the publication of a series of iSupport Lite resources aimed at supporting caregivers of people with dementia. These resources were created in response to the closure of many community-based services for people with dementia and their caregivers due to COVID-19, and aim to provide a series of practical support messages to help reduce caregiver stress. The iSupport Lite resources are easy read posters that are based on iSupport, the WHO skills and training programme for caregivers of people with dementia. The six posters provide tips on reaching out to others for support, providing everyday care for people with dementia, and communicating information to people with dementia, among other topics.
