A free conference for people with a learning disability who want to learn more about living well with dementia will be held by the University of Stirling, on 10 March 2020, at the Stirling Court Hotel (on University of Stirling campus). The day will focus on findings from a study at the University of Stirling, funded by the Alzheimer’s Society and led by an inclusive research team, including co-researchers with a learning disability. Those attending will have the opportunity to hear from the team and try some of the positive ways in which people with a learning disability and dementia were supported. Please note that the event is for people with a learning disability and a supporter, as required). It is free to attend, but booking is essential.
