The Yearbook is a report that provides an overview of the challenges and opportunities that people with dementia and their caregivers face in Europe. and is based on a survey of national Alzheimer associations from 30 European countries, providing insights into the employment status of people with dementia, their access to social protection, and the support available to their caregivers. It also highlights the significant barriers to employment that people with dementia and their caregivers face and the lack of adequate social protection and support for these groups.
The report concludes with recommendations for policymakers, employers and civil society organizations to address these challenges and promote greater social inclusion for people with dementia and their caregivers.
