On 31 March 2025, the members of the Multi-MeMo project, focused on studying multimodal interventions for the prevention of dementia, convened in Bratislava, Slovakia, for the second General Assembly (GA) meeting. Hosted by the Slovak Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Neuroimmunology, the event was held in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and online participation. The meeting provided an opportunity for partners to discuss the latest project developments and outline future plans. Project coordinator Alina Solomon opened the meeting and emphasised the importance of collective efforts in advancing research and innovation in the field of dementia prevention. Following her remarks, leaders of the various work packages presented updates on their ongoing contributions to the project.
Alzheimer Europe Project Officer Cindy Birck and Public Involvement Officer Sarah Campill, took part in the meeting and shared updates on the Public Involvement and communication/dissemination activities, two key areas led by Alzheimer Europe. Following the General Assembly, several Multi-MeMo partners traveled to Vienna for the AD/PD™ International Conference on Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases and Related Neurological Disorders, taking place from 1-5 April 2025. At the conference, they contributed to discussions and shared insights from their ongoing work. The meeting and subsequent conference participation underscored the project's commitment to advancing dementia research through collaboration and innovation.
