We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Miha Kastelic, on 18 March 2023. His funeral took place on 24 March. Miha was a former member of the European Working Group of People with Dementia (EWGPWD), from October 2018 to December 2019. He was born on 25 February 1973 and was originally from Ljubljana, Slovenia, then moved to the Czech Republic in 2008. Miha spent many years working in the cleaning and hygiene industry, in various different regional sales and marketing positions and travelled all over Europe for many years, with sales teams working on hygiene projects for key clients. In December 2017, he was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's disease and subsequently joined the EWGPWD, nominated by the Czech Alzheimer's Society. We offer our deepest condolences to Miha's wife Alena and their family.
