The People Awards celebrate outstanding contributions by people working with and for people with dementia and Mr Roberts received his in recognition of his advocacy work for people affected by dementia. This year’s awards ceremony was hosted by the Alzheimer’s Society’s Royal Patron, Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy, at St. James’ Palace, London, on 25 May.
