Alzheimer Europe is pleased to welcome two new colleagues, who joined the team during May 2025. Karim Elnaggar (he/him/his) joined Alzheimer Europe’s Operations team as an Executive Assistant. Karim holds two bachelors in Economic Sciences, Communication, and Marketing from the University of Luxembourg and a formation as a facilitator. He has a professional experience in administration, direct marketing, and communication. At Alzheimer Europe, he is responsible for managing administrative tasks and providing support in finance and communication.
Fiona Sligo-Young (pictured) joined Alzheimer Europe as the Finance Officer. Previously, she has worked both in the UK and Luxembourg as a Financial Controller to multinational companies adhering to cross border compliance and reporting requirements, and has also been the Finance lead in a variety of EU Intereg Funded projects. She is driven by robust, evidence-based reporting and strives for smart solutions that make a difference to the organisation and its stakeholders.
