The Alzheimer Europe Board held a meeting on 2 June 2025. The meeting took place in Brussels and was chaired by Maria do Rosário Zincke dos Reis, Chairperson of Alzheimer Europe. Angela Bradshaw, Director for Research, Dianne Gove, Director for Public Involvement and Ethics and Ana Diaz, Public Involvement Lead, were in attendance to provide the Board of Directors with updates on various financial and operational matters. These updates concerned Alzheimer Europe’s 2025 activities and meetings, the upcoming Annual Conference in Bologna, EU project applications, the composition of the two new working groups (group of people with dementia and group of carers) and a number of staff changes (including four recent additions to the team). The Board then reviewed budgetary matters and prepared itself for the Annual General Meeting of Alzheimer Europe on 4 June. Before closing the meeting, the 2026 work plan and Annual Conference were discussed as were possible host countries for the 2027 Annual Conference. The Alzheimer Europe Board will hold its next meeting online, on 29 September.
