Soohyun Kim is a Health Policy Analyst at the OECD, where she works on dementia, healthy ageing, and integrated care. She led and co-authored recent OECD publications on dementia policies, mapping how national dementia strategies are evolving across OECD countries and identifying where national approaches are converging and where gaps remain. She previously researched the social determinants of cognitive ageing as a postdoctoral scientist at Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health, and has collaborated with UNESCO, UNESCAP, and Korea's Ministry of Health and Welfare. She holds a PhD in Social Work from Columbia University.
