Professor Seán Kennelly is a Consultant Geriatrician and Director of the Institute of Memory and Cognition at Tallaght University Hospital, and Clinical Associate Professor of Medical Gerontology at Trinity College Dublin. He leads and co-leads national dementia research and clinical trial networks, with a particular research focus on Alzheimer’s disease, biomarkers and emerging disease-modifying therapies. His recent work has focused on translating blood-based biomarkers into clinical practice and improving access to accurate, timely diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease.
