Research Insights

In 2026, Alzheimer Europe launched Research Insights, a public webinar series focused on new developments and topics in research.  The aim of these interactive webinars is to bring together academic and industry researchers, clinicians, national Alzheimer organisations, policymakers and the wider dementia community, to exchange knowledge on cross-cutting research topics. This is an opportunity to increase the visibility and impact of European research projects, support collaboration across consortia, and raise awareness of research developments in the European dementia community.

The webinars are hosted on online (Zoom), featuring a set of experts and speakers, including a talk from an individual with lived experience.  Moderated by Alzheimer Europe, they include short presentations from selected projects and initiatives as well as a panel discussion and a Q&A discussion.

Our previous and upcoming sessions are detailed below. Recordings of the sessions are also available on their pages and on Alzheimer Europe’s YouTube channel.

The first session focused on data sharing in dementia research, including a newly launched report from Alzheimer Europe.
This session will take place 6 October 2026 on brain health, dementia risk reduction and prevention.
