On 1 March 2023, Spominčica - Alzheimer Slovenija opened new Dementia Friendly Point (DFP) in UniCredit Banka Slovenija d.d., which thus became the first dementia-friendly bank in Slovenia. The management of the bank made a decision to establish DFPs in all of its 19 branches throughout Slovenia. By joining the network of DFPs, UniCredit Bank has decided to co-create and support efforts to create a dementia-friendly society in Slovenia. The opening was attended by managers and employees of the bank. Štefanija L. Zlobec (pictured, right), President of Spominčica - Alzheimer Slovenija, presented the certificate to a representative of UniCredit Bank d.d., Tineto Verbole (pictured, left), Head of the Retail and Small Business Division. As from now, UniCredit Bank and its 19 DFPs officially join the network of DFPs that are established by Spominčica - Alzheimer Slovenija throughout Slovenia.
