I am committed to ensure that the Netherlands is at the forefront of dementia research, to make sure that research and innovation will benefit patients. We are at a turning point in time, I’m confident that together we will see important breakthroughs in the coming years, resulting in meaningful progress in diagnosis, treatment and support for people living with dementia.” Prof. Van der Flier also holds a professorship at Amsterdam UMC, with a focus on Alzheimer research and impact.
