Alzheimer's Disease (AD) represents a significant unmet medical need and a growing global health challenge. AD is not a normal part of ageing, but sometimes people may mistake early signs and symptoms for normal ageing. The Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Initiative: ID/AD – Identify Alzheimer’s Disease has been launched by Biogen, to help raise public awareness about the early signs and symptoms of AD, the importance of early detection and diagnosis, prevention strategies and existing support to help people living with AD, their families and carers.
