On 3 April, an exceptional tour took place in Prague's Klementinum, organised by the National Library of the Czech Republic for members of the "Memory Walks" group and clients of the respite care service of the Czech Alzheimer Society (CAS). Participants had a unique opportunity to explore the historical areas of this complex, which are not usually open to the public. The guide led them through the Courtyard of the Jesuit College, the Vine Garden Courtyard, the Baroque Corridor, the General Study Room, and the service hall, where they learned about the rich history and architecture of these places. The tour concluded in the Mirror Chapel, where a knowledge quiz awaited the visitors, which they worked on together with their companions. In addition to the fascinating history, participants also learned many interesting facts about the functioning of the National Library and how the Klementinum has transformed over the centuries. One of the clients of the CAS respite service, who was able to participate in the tour thanks to the support of her assistant, stated that it was one of her most beautiful days. Many thanks go to the employees of the National Library, who ensured the smooth running of the entire event and provided barrier-free access to all areas. Their professionalism and helpfulness contributed to the fact that all participants lived an unforgettable experience.
