On 26 May and 10 June, members of the newly set up DORIAN GRAY Public Involvement Board (PIB) gathered online. Some members of the DORIAN GRAY research team - Nicola Francesco Lopomo, Leonardo Angelini, Ugo Eb-Levadoux, Carlo Emilio Standoli, Carla Dei and Louise Droste zu Senden – attended both sessions which were facilitated by Soraya Moradi-Bachiller (Public Involvement Officer, Alzheimer Europe).
During the consultation, members of the DORIAN GRAY-PIB were asked about their lifestyle and the use they make of apps and devices to stay fit and healthy. Then, members were presented with information about the DORIAN GRAY app, its possible features and general functions.
Researchers then discussed with the DORIAN GRAY-PIB how to develop an app that is engaging, accessible and appealing enough for the future participants of the DORIAN GRAY study. Members who attended these sessions (both part of the same consultation) participated actively and provided insightful feedback that will help the DORIAN GRAY research team develop a successful app.
