At the end of 2022, Irish Life, an Irish life assurance and pensions company, donated EUR 256,000 to The Alzheimer Society of Ireland (ASI). The ASI was delighted to be one of Irish Life's Charity Partners for 2022, alongside Women's Aid. Irish Life’s dedication to the partnership in collaborating with The ASI, supporting the organisation’s work, and their campaigns, such as the Memory Walk, has been outstanding, said the ASI, noting that Irish Life had "a wonderful person-centred approach to their work and a culture of charity". Andy Heffernan (pictured, left), CEO at The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, attended a cheque presentation event with the company before Christmas, where they announced an incredible amount of EUR 256,000 had been raised for The ASI. The charity was of course thrilled with this incredible donation raised by the staff at Irish Life and expressed its thanks and gratitude to the teams at Irish Life for their incredible generosity in supporting people living with dementia. The charity looks forward to continuing its work with Irish Life in 2023.
