On 26 July, “A European Academy of Neurology guideline on medical management issues in dementia” was published (early view) in the European Journal of Neurology. It was co-authored by Jean Georges, Executive Director of Alzheimer Europe. The guideline addresses important medical management issues in dementia including systematic medical follow-up, vascular risk factors, pain, use of antipsychotics, and epilepsy.
