On 21 September, World Alzheimer’s Day, the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) published a paper urging European leaders to make dementia more of a priority. “We are at a turning point in our fight against dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Long-awaited new therapies are on the horizon. To ensure we translate these breakthroughs into results, Europe must prepare”, stressed EFPIA.
