Dementia Alliance International announces a new webinar series from its DAI Environmental Design Special Interest Group

04/03/2026

On 4 March, after more than half a year of planning and coordinating, Dementia Alliance International (DAI) announced the launch of a new webinar series, aiming to raise awareness and share global knowledge and skills in designing an inclusive environment for people living with cognitive decline and dementia.
The first episode was delivered by Professor Richard Fleming, a psychologist and environmental design expert with more than 35 years of experience. He explains how the places we live in, visit, and use every day can support people living with dementia, and demonstrate how creating supportive environments aligns with principles of respect, choice, and treating people as a person first.
