The publication “Designing information for people living with dementia: recommendations for designers and information providers” is now available in English and Portuguese. It is a guide developed within the research project DECOHDE – Design for a Humanised Communication of Dementia, by researchers of ID+, RISE-Health, DigiMedia, from the University of Aveiro, and funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).
People living with dementia have the right to information that meets their needs. This guide brings together 14 principles and recommendations for creating information resources that are clearer and more engaging, aimed at people living with dementia (not only at carers). It includes guidance on content, navigation, interface, and visual design, applicable to both digital and print formats.
