03/12/2025

On 1 December, Alzheimer Larissa introduced its beneficiaries to the festive Christmas spirit through a virtual trip via tablet, to the nativity cave in Bethlehem. On 3 December, a combined activity took place: a) a storytelling session featuring Stelios Sperantzas’ poem “Snow on the Belfry” and b) the creation of small and large bells using eco-friendly materials. On 8 December, the activity “Make a wish” was held, during which beneficiaries and volunteers created their own personal greeting cards. On 11 December, the activity “Make my Christmas tree” was carried out. Groups of beneficiaries, guided by volunteers, crafted colorful paper trees for the residents of a nursing home. On 16 December, the cycle of activities concluded with the Christmas gala, aiming to entertain the beneficiaries and strengthen human connections. The gala programme opened with the lighting of the Christmas tree and festive melodies. Afterwards, guests enjoyed warm mountain tea, Christmas treats and exchanged good wishes. The event closed with the singing of “Silent Night”.
