14/03/2025

In celebration of Brain Awareness Week, a global campaign held every March to raise awareness about brain research, the AI-Mind project has launched its knowledge hub, aimed at sharing valuable insights from its research.

This digital space, named “AI-Mind Share,” is an essential resource for anyone interested in the field of dementia, mild cognitive impairment (MCI), artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare, ethical AI use and data privacy. The hub contains a wide range of resources, ranging from project reports and publications to articles and videos. The goal is to provide practical tools and information that will support clinicians, researchers, healthcare professionals, patient organisations and other key stakeholders.

To explore this new resource, please visit the AI-Mind website, click on the "Outcomes" section in the top menu and select "Knowledge hub: AI-Mind Share." There, you can dive into six different topics:

  • AI-Mind insights on MCI, dementia, risk factors, diagnosis and the use of AI in clinical practice
  • Ethical considerations of using AI in healthcare
  • Managing data privacy and security for AI-Mind tools
  • Engineering principles behind the AI-Mind solutions
  • Health Technology Assessment (HTA) for evaluating the potential value and cost-effectiveness of AI-based tool
