Marco Bozzali is professor of Neurology at the University of Turin (Italy) and honorary consultant at the University Hospital “Città della Salute e della Scienza di Torino” (Turin, Italy). Main clinical responsibilities include running a Memory clinic and an MS service. He received his first degree in medicine and completed his Specialist Neurology Training at the University of Milan (Italy). In 2003-2006, he was Clinical Research Fellow at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Neuroimaging & Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, University College of London (London UK). From 2006 to 2017, he has worked as consultant neurologist and lead of the Clinical Science Theme of the Neuroimaging Laboratory at Santa Lucia Foundation IRCCS in Rome (Italy). From 2017 to 2020, he has held the position of professor of Neurology at the University of Sussex, and worked as honorary consultant in neurology at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals (Brighton, UK). From a clinical and research perspective, dementia has always been one of his major areas of interest, as demonstrated by his several research programs and publications on international journals. Since 2012, he has been serving the Italian Society of Neurology, Dementia section (SINDEM) with various roles, and he is currently holding the position of President of the SINDEM Executive Committee. Among his several activities, appears the initiation and organisation for 11 consecutive years of the international conference on dementia and neurodegenerative disorders, specifically designed towards early career researchers (Brixen, Italy).
