The Dementia Alliance for Culture and Ethnicity (DACE) is an alliance of groups currently providing information and support to people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities in the UK. DACE aims to promote improved understanding of dementia in Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities and improved services and support for all those living with dementia and their carers and families.

The call for action is a document which lists activities, actions and examples of good practice for working with Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) people, families, communities and organisations affected by dementia.

English and a range of others languages (i.e. through the links to a wide range of documents and video clips)

What is the target audience of the initiative:

It is stated on the website that the aim is to provide information and support to people with dementia and carers from BAME communities. A lot of information would probably also be valuable to healthcare professionals and service providers.
