We are Alzheimer Europe

Alzheimer Europe is the umbrella organisation of 41 national Alzheimer's associations from 36 European countries.

We are a non-profit non-governmental organisation (NGO) and will achieve our mission by meaningfully involving people affected by dementia, challenging stigma and promoting public awareness, advancing the human rights of people affected by dementia, championing diversity, inclusion and intersectionality, making dementia a priority of European and national policies (disability, health, social affairs and research), fostering research and innovation, promoting equal access to quality diagnosis, treatment, care and support, raising awareness of brain health and dementia prevention, supporting national Alzheimer’s associations and building a strong united movement, and ensuring financial and organisational sustainability.
