On 17 December 2025, the Council of Ministers adopted Resolution No. 173, on the “National Programme of Measures against Dementia, public policy until 2030”. The National Programme aims to recognise the needs of people with dementia, to provide coordinated, multi-faceted actions to help people and their families, with a focus on seven are-as:
1. Raising public awareness
2. Reducing the risk of developing the disease
3. Supporting early diagnosis
4. Treatment, care, and support for patients
5. Support for caregivers
6. Building data collection systems
7. Scientific research
