The Amyloid imaging to prevent Alzheimer’s disease (AMYPAD) project has published two new papers this month. The first paper entitled “Simulating the effect of cerebral blood flow changes on regional quantification of [18F]flutemetamol and [18F]florbetaben studies” has been published in the journal of Cerebral Blood Flow & Metabolism and can be found at: https://doi.org/10.1177/0271678X20918029

The second paper, published in the journal Alzheimer’s & Dementia, describes the design of the AMYPAD Prognostic and Natural History study. This study aims at understanding the role of amyloid imaging in the earliest stages of Alzheimer’s disease. The paper can be read here: https://doi.org/10.1002/alz.12069

The AMYPAD project has received funding from the Innovative Medicines Initiative 2 Joint Undertaking under grant agreement No 115952. The Joint Undertaking receives support from the European Union’s Horizon2020 research and innovation programme and EFPIA.
