People with Dementia

Individuals living with dementia receive a 60% discount on all registration rates.
Their registration fee includes the person with dementia and one accompanying person of their choice—this could be a friend, family member, or anyone they wish to attend with them.


Carers


Carers who are currently the main caregiver of a person with dementia are also entitled to a 60% discount.

Please note:

  • This discount does not apply to former carers or family members who are not the primary caregiver.
  • Professionals or academics who care for someone with dementia must pay the standard registration fee.
  • Carers may attend with the person with dementia they support however they must be registered by the Person with Dementia 

 

Members and staff members of Alzheimer Europe member organisations

Each member organisation of Alzheimer Europe will receive one (1) free registration for the Annual Conference, as well as a reduction of 25% for up to twenty (20) other participants.
 

The member organisation should request a discount code from Alzheimer Europe to benefit from the reduction to register its participants.
The Alzheimer Society of Ireland will be able to register thirty (30) participants free of charge and receive a discount code for up to a hundred (100) participants to register with a 25% discount.
 

Exceptionally, members from European countries whose gross national income (GNI) per inhabitant is less than 90% of the European Union average (Armenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, Malta, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey and Ukraine) will receive a 50% discount to register their participants.


In 2026, Alzheimer Europe will be able to use a donation from CBRE (EUR 35,000) to support the travel and accommodation costs of AE members from the countries above.

Press Pass

Press passes are available for journalists covering the 36th Alzheimer Europe Conference in Dublin. Such press passes are only available for accredited members of the news media who are on assignment to cover the conference. To benefit from a free press pass for the conference, please upload a scan of your official accreditation (business card, press card) to certify that you are a member of the news media. In addition, please also upload a scan of an official letter on your news media outlet's letterhead confirming that you are on assignment to cover the Alzheimer Europe Conference.
Please note that press passes are not available for delegates presenting an oral presentation or poster at the Alzheimer Europe Conference. All such delegates will be required to register for the conference by the early bird registration deadline.
