Research

Education
Every day, people with dementia, their partners, close friends and relatives, as well as members of the general public and healthcare professionals, are taking part in research projects aimed at improving in some way the lives of people affected by dementia.
Public Involvement is about involving people with dementia in the research process, but not as participants. It is about carrying out research and developing policies with or by members of the public and patients rather than on or for them.
The Clinical trials data base provides dementia-friendly information on clinical trials that are investigating drugs for Alzheimer’s disease and/or dementia in Europe.
This database contains information on EU funded dementia research projects, undertaken since 2007.
