JAIN Foundation

The JAIN (Joint Artificial Intelligence Network) Foundation and and Alzheimer Europe have a Memorandum of Understanding.

The JAIN Foundation organises a competition "The World JAIN Challenge" for developed technical products and services based on eHealth and artificial intelligence, which support the quality of life and self-reliance of people with dementia and their carers and reduce the workload for professionals, relatives and carers. To guarantee the quality of the World JAIN Challenge 2024, an independent assessment committee with a broad orientation in the field of dementia care, technology development, evaluation, implementation and valorisation, together with experienced experts, assists the JAIN Foundation.

The JAIN Foundation involves representatives of Alzheimer Europe’s European Working Group of People with Dementia and European Carers Working Group in the evaluation of submitted proposals and products related to dementia care and research. Alzheimer Europe will facilitate and support the involvement and contribution of these representatives and supports communication activities around the initiative.
