The Swiss National Dementia Strategy on the federal and cantonal level expires this year. An evaluation has shown that, although important fundamentals have been elaborated, the care situation and quality of life of the 600,000 persons affected - people with dementia and their relatives - have not yet significantly improved. Alzheimer Suisse is calling for concrete action to be taken, to move forward and bridge the gap between theory and practice. They have written a position paper, dated 15 May.
