Muistiliitto, the Alzheimer Society of Finland, introduced its refreshed visual identity in conjunction with its annual Dementia Week. The aim of the renewal is to strengthen Muistiliitto’s recognisability and ensure more consistent communication, while making the work carried out by its nationwide network more visible. The new logo carries the organisation’s new brand name, “Muisti”, whilst the official name remains Muistiliitto.
The refreshed visual identity does not change Muistiliitto’s core mission. At its heart are still the well-being and dignity of people living with dementia and their loved ones, as well as their right to information, support and understanding.
“Dementia affects a huge number of people in Finland, but awareness of Muistiliitto’s work does not yet reflect the importance of the issue. The refreshed visual identity is part of our long-term efforts to make both the issue and the support available more visible”, said Executive Director Katariina Suomu.
