After the meeting of the Slovenian Council for Dementia management on 2 November 2022 at the Office of the President of the Republic of Slovenia, the Palace of the President of the Republic of Slovenia joined the network of dementia friendly organisations, which Spominčica – Alzheimer Slovenija is establishing across the country. At the event, Borut Pahor, President of the Republic of Slovenia and Štefanija L. Zlobec, president of Spominčica – Alzheimer Slovenija officially established a new Dementia friendly point at the President’s palace. This way they have joined almost 400 other organizations – Dementia friendly points in Slovenia. By becoming a member of Spominčica’s Dementia friendly points network, the Office of the President of the Republic Slovenia will help to inform and raise awareness about dementia. By establishing Dementia friendly points they will also contribute to reduce the stigma associated with dementia.
