Lieselotte (Lilo) Klotz has informed Alzheimer Europe of her decision to withdraw from all Public Involvement activities at national and European level, and to leave the European Working Group of People with Dementia (EWGPWD). She said that her work with the group had meant a lot to her over the years since she joined in 2022, and that she had very much enjoyed being part of the group, particularly the international perspective and the opportunity to ensure the voices and lived experiences of people with dementia are listened to. She wished the team at Alzheimer Europe, everyone she has had the privilege of working with and all her colleagues in the EWGPWD all the very best, as well as continued strength in their important work.
We greatly appreciate Lilo’s contributions during her time in the working group, we thank her for her hard work, her dedication and her friendship these past four years, and we wish her all the very best for the future.
