Dr James McKillop, DUni. MBE was diagnosed with dementia in 1999. He is a pioneer dementia advocate from Scotland and is also a poet and songwriter. He wrote the recently-released song "Diff'rently The Same" and on 11 February 2024, the lyrics of the song were read out on the Iain Anderson Show on BBC Radio Scotland.
