On 19 April, the members of the European Working Group of People with Dementia (EWGPWD) gathered online for a consultation about the eBRAIN-Health project and the topic of digital brain twins. The online meeting was opened by the Chair of the EWGPWD, Chris Roberts, was facilitated by Daphné Lamirel and also attended by Project Officers Ana Diaz and Soraya Moradi-Bachiller, and Director for Projects, Dianne Gove who provided organisational support. The members provided their opinions on issues related to terminology and reflected on which terms might be better suited to describe digital brain twins to the public. They also gave very useful feedback on how researchers should go about communicating about digital brain twins and the eBRAIN-Health project to the public. The final part of the consultation focused on gathering members’ views on their hopes and fears regarding the use of digital brain twins in the future.
