Participation counts. Whether living with dementia or not, everyone wants to belong. Exercise, fun and contact with others make a big difference to people, perhaps especially if they are facing dementia. Each week, the "Jonathan Saturday" football club in Zeist (Netherlands), welcomes people with dementia, who come to participate in "Walking Football", set up in collaboration with Alzheimer Nederland. On the field, people move, laugh and play together. But it's about more than football: it's about being part of a community.
