
On 8 October 2021, Alzheimer Hellas conducted a seminar on: "Behavioral Disorders and the Recage Program" in view of World Elderly Day on 1 October. Magda Tsolaki, Professor of Neurology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Neurologist- Psychiatrist, Theologian and President of the Panhellenic Federation of Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders, talked about behavioural disorders in dementia. Elena Poptsi, psychologist, talked about: "Behavior Disorders and Behavioral Disorders Special Care Units: The European Recage Program." Finally, Machi Kozori, psychologist, presented the results of the focus groups.
On 14 October, Alzheimer Hellas held on an online event on Interactive Living with Mental Health: (InALMH). Magda Tsolaki made a presentation of the European Network ENALMH. Christos Mouzakidis, Professor of Physical Education and Sports Science, gave a talk called: "InALMH Project: Conception, planning and objectives of the action". And finally, Vasiliki Garopoulou, Professor of Special Physical Education, focused on the implementation and expected results of the project. On 20 October, Despina Moraitou, Associate Professor of Psychology of AUTH, gave a talk on: "The role of positive psychology in the resilience of caregivers" as a reminder that the second victim of the disease is the caregiver.
