Alzheimer Europe launches its Annual Report 2021 during AGM in Bucharest

17/10/2022

Our 2021 Annual Report, officially launched at our AGM in Bucharest on 17 October 2022, looks back at our activities and achievements last year. As in the past, our core activities were funded by an operating grant awarded by the European Commission in the framework of the European Union’s health programme. This support allowed Alzheimer Europe and its national member organisations to continue to give a voice to people with dementia, make dementia a public health priority, support dementia research and strengthen the European dementia movement, all the while ensuring that these activities were firmly rooted in a rights-based approach. The European Union’s health programme funding came to an end for Alzheimer Europe, at the end of 2021, but the organisation was able to obtain a new operating grant from the European Commission’s Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme for its activities in 2022.
