Katrin SEEHER

About

Originally trained as psychologist, Katrin has been working with people with dementia and their families for over 15 years. 

In her current role at WHO, Katrin is responsible for the implementation of the global action plan on the public health response to dementia 2017-2025 and its monitoring framework, the Global Dementia Observatory (GDO).

She led the development of WHO’s “Global status report on the public health response to dementia” and the recently launched WHO position paper on “Optimizing brain health across the life course”. She is assisting Member States in developing comprehensive national dementia plans and formulating country-level responses for dementia and other neurological disorders.
