Registration fees

Online registration is open from 28 February to 8 October 2023. After that date, online registration will be subject to availabilities. Please see below for registration fees.

The full registration fee includes:

  • Admission to all in person and online sessions
  • Access to on demand videos and posters after the conference till 31 January 2024
  • Delegate bag and final programme
  • Opening ceremony
  • Welcome reception at Helsinki City Hall and transfer to the venue
  • Scheduled coffee breaks and lunches on 16, 17 and 18 October
  • Networking opportunities 
  • Access to the exhibition hall

One day registration fee includes:

  • Admission to in person sessions on the day of the registration and admission to all online sessions

Special registration fees for people with dementia

If you are a person with dementia, you are entitled to the following reduced rates

Please note that these registration fees include the fees for yourself and an accompanying person of your choice. If you wish to take advantage of this possibility, please include the name of your supporter in the registration form and reach out to Alzheimer Europe to receive a discount code.

Member organisations of Alzheimer Europe will be able to register their members or staff members with the following reduced registration rates.

To be able to register with the reduced student rate, you must upload proof of full-time enrolment at a University or College.

Press Pass

Press passes are available for journalists covering the 33rd Alzheimer Europe Conference in Helsinki. Such press passes are only available for accredited members of the news media who are on assignment to cover the symposium. To benefit from a free press pass for the conference, please upload a scan of your official accreditation (business card, press card) to certify that you are a member of the news media. In addition, please also upload a scan of an official letter on your news media outlet's letterhead confirming that you are on assignment to cover the Annual Conference.
Please note that press passes are not available for delegates presenting an oral presentation or poster at the Annual Conference. All such delegates will be required to register for the conference by the early bird registration deadline.


Payment

When making your online registration, you can choose to pay online or to pay by bank transfer.
Bank payments will be available until 1 October, after this date only online payment by credit card will be available.
All payments will be done in EUR.
You will receive an invoice after you finished registering and a confirmation of payment after we have received your payment.
You should bring this confirmation of payment to the registration desk at the conference venue when collecting your badge and documents.


Terms and conditions

Cancellation and change policy for registrations

Any changes to a registration must be sent to Alzheimer Europe in writing by E-mail. Changes to a delegate's name are possible for an administrative fee of EUR 25 until 1 October.
All cancellations must be sent to Alzheimer Europe in writing by E-mail. For cancellations received by 30 June, reservations will be refunded less EUR 50 for administrative costs.
After this date, no refund will be possible. Nevertheless, a replacement for the participant will be accepted for an administrative fee of EUR 25, until the deadline of 1 October after which no name changes will be possible.
