My name is Minna Kinnunen. I live in Finland, in a small town called Iisalmi with my spouse Jukka. I was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's disease at the end of 2020, when I was 57 years old. As a positive and forward-looking person, I decided that the disease would not define me or prevent me from living a full life. I have many hobbies and I volunteer.
I have been in the Alzheimer Society of Finland`s Memory Activists working group for two years now and I serve as its Chairperson. I am also involved in the local Memory Activists group. I have spent my working life in a bank, which I liked very much. It is important to me that the voices of people with memory disorders are heard, their participation, services, and rights are realised, and they can live a good life in a memory-friendly society.  I like reading, swimming and exercising at the gym. In 2024, Muistiliitto nominated Minna for the 2024 - 2027 mandate.
