What is PharmaCog? A different approach

PharmaCog: driving innovation in drug discovery:

How is PharmaCog different from other Alzheimer’s Disease Research Projects?

  • PharmaCog is a Pan-European partnership bringing experts who normally compete together to work together to focus on improving our ability to deliver high quality medicines to Alzheimer’s patients drug development
  • All studies conducted are designed to improve our ability to identify successful new medicines as early as possible in drug development while stopping progression of those destined to fail
  • The focus of the project is on increasing our ability to predict new medicines from laboratory studies and clinical models
  • While other initiatives are focused on improving clinical trial design, PharmaCog is focused on our improving our ability to identify the most promising new medicines of the future
